Way back in 1976, Rudi's founders couldn't find a bread that they wanted to feed to their families. They had a holistic approach to life, and believed eating healthy stuff went hand-in-hand with being happy. There wasn't a bread on the market that fit this philosophy.
Rudi's uses a centuries-old practice that allows the dough to ferment before mixing and baking begins. This makes preservatives and chemical rising agents unnecessary, adds richer flavors and textures, and allows Rudi to say 'Made with stuff you can pronounce and ingredients you recognize!'
